Preview & production process

From your personal details to a finished piece, here is how your Wondroot order comes together. We email a design preview for each personalized wooden name sign, night light, and ornament in a new order after our team reviews the image.

1. Place your personalized order

   Choose your design and size, then enter the name or other details shown in your chosen design. Check the spelling carefully. For wooden name signs, open Add design requests (optional) on the product page to request color changes or replace details, such as a dog with a duck or roses with sunflowers. Your request is saved with that item. For other products, use Special instructions in the cart and identify each item separately. For example: “Mallard Duck & Dog — Name: Alex; Size: 18 in; Dog: black Labrador; Bottom text: AG.” Check the notes before checkout; chat messages do not automatically become order notes. If you have already ordered, email support@wondroot.com with your order number or reply to your preview email. Changes to colors, fonts, wording, names and design elements on your wooden name sign are included in its price. We create personalized previews only after an order is placed. Adding a design request automatically includes the same 24-hour preview review window as selecting Email me a preview before production.

2. Check your email for the design preview

   Our team reviews and emails the personalized design for every new product in your order. If you requested a preview, we will email it within 12 hours of your order being placed, to the email address you use at checkout. This is an emailed design preview, not an instant on-screen preview. Please check your inbox and spam folder.

3. Review a requested preview within 24 hours

   If you requested a preview, you have 24 hours from the preview email to reply with any changes you would like.

   If you reply with changes

   We prepare the requested changes and email a revised preview for you to review again. Before your order is created in our fulfillment system, preview revisions are free for customers with an order, with no fixed revision limit until you and our team agree on the design. Once the order has been created in that system, changes are no longer supported. You have 24 hours from that revised preview email to request any further changes; a change request does not approve the original design.

   If you do not reply

   For a requested preview, after 24 hours without a response, production may proceed using the original preview we sent. If you have requested changes, that request must be resolved first.

4. We make and ship your piece

   Your item is handcrafted to order, then sent with end-to-end tracking. We will email the tracking information when your order ships.

   ProcessingWooden name signs: 10–20 in, 5–7 business days; 24–30 in, 7–10 business days. Other products generally take 5–7 business days.
   Shipping7–12 business days

   Shipping follows processing. These times are estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates. We currently deliver within the United States only. See our Shipping Policy for delivery details.
